About Pontoon boat ride with captain 2,5 hours
Enjoy a relaxed ride on a pontoon boat "Sweetwater" on a gorgeous Vltava river just 20 mins south of Prague city center. Grilling, beers, and a beautiful nature all around = great day guaranteed!
The 2,5 hours long trip includes a visit to the so called St. John's rapids (Svatojánské proudy), it used to be a stretch of very fast flowing water on the Vltava river. Now it's just a peaceful beatiful stretch of river surrounded by white rocks, and amazing nature all around, easily mistaken with the likes of Switzerland. No wonder this stretch of water was inspiration for Bedrich Smetana's famous Vltava.
You will also visit the bridge where the famous "Bridge at Remagen" movie was shot and you will ride through the highest water lock in Europe (23 meters).
